My 30 Day Challenge

Early July I decided to resurrect my Personal Board of Advisers and bribed someone I considered influential, inspirational and vocal with lunch. I then agreed to a 30 day challenge of blogging every day.

We started on July 15, 2013 and as a result, I’ve spent hours every day immediately processing my life, doing additional research on what I’d otherwise disregard and experimenting with my technology stack and cleaning up my virtual clutter at the same time I’m producing more proof of what I already do in my day-to-day.

It’s already proven to be challenging and I look forward to the next stage where I spend less time sharing what I’ve been up to (as I’ve more or less caught up) and more time sharing the musings and discoveries I make every day. One thing’s for certain – I NEED learning in my every day or I get DE-press-ed. I can’t imagine any time for depression over these next few weeks.

Next Up: Survive OSCON and Timber! Music Fest

More @ my30dc.com. Have you ever tried a 30 day challenge? On the fence about one? I’d love to hear more about how it went, how it’s going and offer my support.

I’m using the Social plugin by Mailchimp. http://wordpress.org/plugins/social/ So far, I’m liking it a lot. I get almost all feedback by social media so now at least it’s integrated in one place. Seems to capture most stuff whether I broadcast using the plugin or with bufferapp.com (which I use for the morning posts).

Thanks! I have lots of great ideas when I need to procrastinate. As for writing ideas, I wish I could focus on one long enough to wrap it up. I’m constantly bombarded with (lackluster) ideas … mostly because this is turning into something of a “clutter-be-gone” exercise for me which I didn’t fully anticipate. Which reminds me … I like your comments section. I must know what you’re using to integrate with twitter & facebook.

OK, ok … getting back to writing.

I like the new them. I really want to change mine but of course I’m dinking around with DIY new tech framework crap so it’s taking forever. Maybe I should just say screw it and buy a nice one. We’ll see.

This is my first day of feeling really stuck. Not that I don’ t have ideas, but it’s 11pm and I don’t want to spend all night. So, something quick and useful I think. Stay tuned…
