I decided to use corks for knobs after a trip to the hardware store revealed that knobs are EXPENSIVE. I couldn’t get myself to fork over dollars per knob when I already had a beautiful selection of knobs at home. Why? Because I thought some day I’d make one of those cork boards out of sliced corks. Never happened.
